Wagon and Horses

28, Adderley St, Birmingham, West Midlands, B9 4ED Tel: 0121 772 1403
One of the oldest surviving public houses in Bordesley and now frequented by Media types from North One, Maverick and the Custard Factory this is a sweet little pub with a sheltered yard out the back. Cosy in winter, cool in summer and with a cute pub cat this is a great place to come at lunchtime. Food is strictly old-school and I loved it. I had the classic of egg, sausage, beans and chips for about 3 quid! I can't go into more detail about the menu but it's from a more innocent time and well worth looking at for some authentic home cooked British classics.
